Just a couple of projects I finished about a week back for an Irish Pub relocating here in Norman.
The top "Pub Sign" is an inside wall piece. It is sandblasted redwood with applied sign foam lettering and hand fabbed aluminum for the letterbacks and ribbon below.
The glow behind the sign is provide by mounting L.E.D.'s behind the raised display.
This menu (below) is a 4'x 8'x 20 guage sheet metal with an mdf frame (one piece) all the lettering is magnetic strips applied to an automotive painted background with a clear vinyl grid applied to the surface to provide the layout required for the changeble strips as the customer makes changes in their menu.
The header is mdf reverse routed on a cns router then painted with the same automotive finish as the lower menue...lettering was then applied as cut vinyl to fit perfectly onto the routed lettering.
I love these kinds of projects...and am always on the lookout for them.

I love the imensional sign Monte! The LED provides a nice sparkle! I like the way the dimensional elements break outside the border too.

Great stuff Monte!
That magnetic strip idea is just what I need for my local pub! They are always changing their menu I did for them and it is a PITA picking off all the small vinyl letters each time!

Monte - excellent look on both the interior wall piece and the menu board!!
Perfectly captures the "Irish" feel in my opinion.
Top notch work...thanks for sharing them!

Oh... I sure would like some detailed explanation on how you mounted the lighting behind the wall O'Connell's sign. Very curious as to how that works.
Do you have any back-side shots? Thanks Monte.
