Here is a little 4 x 8 welcome sign we completed this week.
There are some scrolls welded to the top of the frame in the center... you can't hardly see in the picture.

I believe I have pics of the old sign that was there. Didn't it have yellowjackets on it? There's a private airport right there also. I got out to take a pic and my car door swung shut on me with the keys locked in there and the motor running! This was about five yrs ago. Luckily the mechanic at the airport had a slim jim. Boy did I feel stupid!

You know I don't remember... That is the location you are talking about. I put this sign up to replace one I installed there about 3 years ago that got smashed. They said the wind did it and there insurance payed for it but I dont believe it... I imagine the guy that does the mowing ran over it or something.

It was pretty beat up and said Welcome to Aliceville" Home of the Yellowjackets."

I remember standing outside my car with my camera in hand, hot as H E double hockey sticks out looking in the windows while the ac was running inside the car! Cold drink on the console to boot!

Nice job! RD

Hey Blake, nice job!

Isn't Aliceville where the WWII prisoner camp is? If you haven't been there, it's pretty interesting.

While there, I talked to the guide-lady about some signs they need; maybe some wall lettering. Since you're closer, why not check it out?
