Ever since I saw the fidges that Geet paints I've wanted to do one. Got a good excuse while pulling my sister's husband's name to get a Christmas gift for.
(the other side is basically the same)
I made the knob and lever from cheap wooden shapes they sell at craft stores ... then gilded.

Mark ! I am your biggest fan. Very original and well executed. Really want some detail shots... them lions are awesome.
We are in the process of making one for ourselves (after 5 years).
Now that you have this one outta the way... time to start on the Matyjakowski fridge !

Here's what the lion things look like when you smell them.
Thanks!

Really luscious looking and royal!, Mark. what did you use on the lions, did you spin the gold with a velvet swirly thingie? What he puts into the fridge better be cold cash, for sure!

If I wasn't so happy with my wife I would ask if you had another sister that I could marry.

Neato Squeato. If Slayer is what makes you so creative I think I just might start listening to them. Love....Jill

Looks great Mark!! Yup! Slayer can do that to a guy. Does for me! Where is Geet living these days?? I'm in Scottsdale right now and wouldn't mind seeing if we could hook up for a coolie.
