It's been awhile since I posted anything here, so I thought I would show some recent logos.

Nice Mark - Thanks for posting - how much are building lots in the "Enclave" - I got the shock of my life today when asked about a lot near me - he said $85,000 - this is slightly less than an acre lot - I said no thanks. . . .too rich for my blood. . .

Beautiful Mark - how'd you do the burled wood background in "Enclave"?
Posted by Janette Balogh (Member # 192) on April 20, 2006 09:14 AM:
Elegant and simple. Both classics!
Nice. Posted by Mark Yearwood (Member # 2723) on April 20, 2006 09:48 AM:
Sonny, the background is actually a pattern fill in Photoshop7 called WOW-Tortoise Shell. I played around with the size and settings.

There's some great talent in that short Okie. Everything he does just continues to get better.
Mark has now found out what happens when you do outstanding work...you keep getting more work to do. He is now overwhelmed with some very nice high-end design work. And now he is the "bottle neck" that all the work must go through before it goes to production.
Be careful what you pray for.

Great logos Mark...do you ever do work that's mediocre?
Posted by Mark Yearwood (Member # 2723) on April 20, 2006 06:31 PM:
Of course, Dave.....I just don't show it to anyone. Would you like to see some nice pics of Helvetica letters on a brick wall?
I don't see much junk come out of your shop, either. Posted by Dave Correll (Member # 100) on April 20, 2006 06:40 PM:
I'll see your helvetica on brick and raise you brush script on coroplast!
Posted by Mark Yearwood (Member # 2723) on April 20, 2006 06:48 PM:
Tell me you don't use "brush". I've all but deleted it from the puter. Say it isn't so, Master Dave. I thought you were my hero. Posted by Dennis Raap (Member # 3632) on April 20, 2006 07:43 PM:

Really nice Mark!
I really dig on the Robinson design. (I definitely think "water" when I look at it)
Peace out, Bob
