You need a password to view them Hugh - if you want to email them to me I'll put them on my server for a couple of weeks.

Here you go Hugh...I didn't get them all on , but here is a start.

If you want to comment on them, right click on the picture, go to properties at the bottom and copy the address from the window that comes up (example - http://www.kel-t-grafix.com/gallery2/BBPosts-11.jpg). Then you can, using the full reply form, paste them in on the pop up that comes up when you click on image. If the image doesn't show when you preview it it may be something as simple as a space that doesn't belong there) You may very well know all this, but I don't know what your computer comfort level is [Smile]
Once you get them into where you want them I will delete them from my post.

thank you Kelly !!! i probably wouldnt worry about the others. i think these are ok for show for now ! if you dont mnd i'll leave them on your post for now ;-)

as most of you know, i'm pretty new to all this, only about a year in total, and the first six months was barely playing at my own stuff for the race cars,

i feel almost a little embarrassed showing these when i look at the standard of work produced by others here, but i guess it comes with experience, i'm slowly learning to use the corel 12 more proficiently, which is a big help on the design side of things, and gradually learning how to better put designs together,

anyway, these, except the blue van (my most recent), rossco's cop car and general lee decals, are mostly early examples of work i've done, it's a very steep and ongoing learning curve, whiching i'm enjoying all the way !!!

the roof truss on the blue van took me hours to design from scratch, starting with a simple 2d a frame shape, then makng it 3d, then starting over as i figured the best way to copy/paste/weld/trim the neccesary sections, then starting over again to make it look right, and so on, must've been 4hrs easy ! but i learned quite abit on the way, the customer was well chuffed with it to say the ;east, so i guess thats what matters !

the mino moto was a real early effort, my bro turned up at 11pm with it one night and we played for about 5hrs doing it !

the rossco cop car was fun, i cheated really cos i had a mate redraw the sheriff badge for me !

the usa imports sign was on 6mm pvc board, flooded black with the letering and shadow added, the car and truck vectors were made using the tip on here about tracing with corel, priceless ! the initial probs with the O and R shadow were quickly sorted ! though the customer just noticed a spelling mistake on one word (perfromance !), he's only had it 4 months !!

oh well, any constructive crit is always welcome,

thanks. Hugh

Well done, Hugh!

The learning curev is there for all of us. It DOES get easier, the more you do it. (signs, vectorising, as well as posting!).
