Newly opened picture framing shop, main board is blue painted marble effect, the letters are hand cut then 2 pack painted silver, all the other text and the clock background in vinyl, the clock mechanism is from a cheapo battery kitchen clock. The shop was supposed to have been painted blue to match the sign but the owner is still waiting for the painter (her dad) to "get around to it"

That looks very nice and clean. What material are the letters? I really like the subtle marble effect in blue. I can't wait to try that out on one of my next signs.

Very clean and nice. The real clock hands add that special touch...even if they are from a cheap clock.
I have a question though - what is the purpose of "tel"? Wouldn't everyone know that is a telephone number without telling them?

Lotti the signboard and letters are half inch exterior grade mdf what you folks call extira, I've been using it for 5 years now it paints really well, I always use oil based paints and is totally waterproof, there's an unpainted lump outside the workshop, been there 4 years in all weathers, although very dirty and stained (thats mostly due to the dog though)it shows no sign of "blowing" like ordinary mdf, I know some folk in the US have issues with it, but we don't really have any other alternative in wood, all those wonderful laminate wood panel and stuff like MDO that I see in Signcraft just aren't available to me.
Ray yes I know about the tel thing, in this country its common to put it on signage of all types, I gave up arguing with customers long ago on that one if they want tel: they get it.

Good one Stevey boy. The clock is a good idea, but please do something with those screw heads. Ya bugger.
