This is my bike, a 2000 model Suzuki Intruder 1500lc. I decided I wanted to paint it, as it seems like everyones bike is black nowadays.
I also wanted an old school feel to it, cause I like the old school look and anything to do with the 50s, etc. The colors we used are Aqua and Antique white, which were on alot of 55 chevys and 63 vettes. My cousin did all the base coating and clear coat, and I did the flame layouts, pinstriping and airbrushing.
Im really pleased with the outcome.
Here are a few photos with a before shot too.

Great John! You definitely capture the 50's look. I really like the aqua color - liked it in the 50's chevys too.

WOW !!
I love those 50s colors !! Also the tan and brown or burgandy combination.

Reminds me of my high school buddy's '57 Chevy with that same color combo.

great job !!

Beautiful colors, John. Beautiful job! Does your wife ride with you?

I love riding, but we seem too busy these days to get out much.
