Here is a logo and label design I did for a new Oklahoma winery opening this summer. The full label is wider and wraps the bottle with info, warnings etc. on each side in small print.

They wanted something to tie in with the small family operation which is in the country with lots of Oak trees and rolling hills.

Each wine will have different colors at the bottom where the name is.

Oklahoma has over 20 wineries now and we are working with several of them providing signs, logos, etched glass etc. We did one and the word got around as they all seem to know each other.

That looks classy. I really dig the colors. Seems fitting for an upscale type winery.

Very nice work Mark.

Did the customer come to you or did you approach them?

WOW-EEEEE!
I don't know where you got your inspiration Mark, but that is world class lettering. Is that from a font or all made out of your head? - extremely effective and appropriate for that identity. Love the texture on the gold slab too. What a cool niche market to find.

Thanks....
The main copy is actually called "Orange Grove" from Letterhead Fonts with some tweaking to create the look.

I did about 4 different ideas and they picked this one.

Way Cool.
I will always love letters blending into each other or objects.
And the extended serif on the H turning into a soft hill is brilliant thinking.
The colors are excellent as well.
Love....Jill

Great job as usual, Yearwood.

Mark is a great friend of mine and I am priviledged to see some of his designs in the preliminary stages and the processes he goes through to a final product. He is one of those rare folks with a passion for what he does. The client always gets more than he pays for because Mark puts something special into each job.

Passion and attention to detail are the factors that make Mark's designs so interesting. He continually raises the bar for himself and the rest of us. And the fact that he is a perpetual student, always learning, doesn't hurt either.

He's a pleasure to talk to also. You see, he has all these different voices in his head and so you are not only hearing Mark, but about four other people all in the same conversation. Come to Fred's meet in a few weeks and you can meet all the Marks.

If the wine is as good as the logo they have nothing to worry about.

Nice job...I'll see you all at Fred's.
