Been at a meet for the past month ... doesn't really matter that most of the time I'm the only one there ... with my son other times.
Having a lot of fun with a brush in my hand every day.
I figure 100,00 more lines to go until ... the next 100,000 ... then maybe some striping confidence.
Anywho, these are a couple of my practice panels that I feel may be good enough to give away??? (for charity)
 -

Then my shed needed painting (built 3 years ago, no kit or plans)
Somehow I ended up back at that meet in my head.

Very sweet lines. The barn looks fast with flames hehe. Hopefully soon I'll be brave enough to post some of my recent stuff. If ya wanna give the blue one away, I'll give it a good home [Wink]

Your work looks GREAT, Mark. I like the panels. The building looks great too. I really like how subtle the flames are.
Just checked out your website. You do some awesome work. Can't wait to see more.

I was trying to attend your meet, but I couldn't find my way through all that hair!
Glad you are having fun, learning new tricks, and getting the kid involved.
Nice shed!
And panels too!
Love...Jill

Hey Bud,

Always knew you were a meet head.

You know we always need more auction panels for the Cavalcade event next spring...

Maybe I do need to go knock over some beers and tip a few bowling pins with ya soon...try and save what's left of yer sanity!

I hate I didn't get to meet you in NY last month

Cool panels...and that shed looks like it's tearin' ass around the backyard!.....but it's sittin' still.

Thanks guys, I was a bit nervous about putting these out for people to see, but I feel better now.
I have plenty of practice panels that no one will ever see but enjoy them all.

Other than here, about 3 sets of neighbors will ever see the shed.
My Father saw it and asks if I think it will bring me more work, hope not, not the reason to do it.
Last week I just got up early one morning and went out about 6am to touch up and add licks to the shed. Crisp, sunny morning, birds singing ... a beautiful thing.
I know what your thinking ... still needs some slash stripes around the flames.

"Work" has been stressful lately and coming home to play with a brush is one of the things keeping me sane.

Donald, I'm sorry you didn't make it too, it was a good one ... lit a fire under my ass ... completely torched my son (he's hooked) ... thanks again Brian.
These panels are going to our bike run but I'm sure I'll be slashing plenty more before spring.

About blasting pins ... call me ... I know Bruce is in.

Hahaha... just had to share.

Just got back from our bike run (which was very much a success .. despite some rain)
This is where I gave away those panels.

When I told my wife I was giving the panels as run door prizes she said "they're nice but what do you do with em", so she went out and bought a mailbox and told me to paint it too.

Whipped out pretty quick freehand.

Anywho,
they ended up setting up another raffel (3 tickets for 2 bucks) for the box and panels (3 seperate winners)
Sold way more tickets for that stupid box than a nice DVD player.
I thought that was too *&*&^$# hilarious hahaha
I don't know exactly how much they brought in but was over 3 digits.

The guy who won the box also won one of the panels and was extatic.
