Mark, the cast iron skillet must have been real hot at the "Flying Biscuit Antique Sign Co." to have turned out such a great looking job!!!!!!!

Way to go "Bubba"

Mark,
This might be a no brainer question... but I was wondering how you got her shoulder around the door handle so perfectly? Did you take it off?
I'd like to know [Smile]

thanks for the kind words nettie and neil.

ryan,
i rubbed stick charcoal on the door handle, then positioned the image on the door with the backing still on. i rubbed where the door handle was and this transfered a faint image of the door handle placement, i removed from vehicle and and cut out where the charcoal smudge was from the back.

i hope this makes sence.

Turned out great! I liked the original drawing with OD's paws hanging out of the window, but I know how customers like to change things. [Wink]

How was the install? The spot I have a hard time with is right where her wrist/bracelet is. Did you do the big print on the back too?

thanks terry.
you are right, the area just below her hand and bracelet was a "bitch".
i had to re-print this area on the first side because i "wrinkled it royally" LOL

it was extremely hard to get the vinyl to conform to this "compound" body curve.
(sign surgery was required.)

thanks everyone for the mora and technical support on earlier posts when i had questions about the perforated window film.

i learned a lot.(who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks?) [Wink]

mark(old dog)

here is a photo of the back.

good Job on that one Mark. The key to that wrist area is to squegee the print down while pullin on it kinda tight, but don't squegee with the contour...just squegee up to that point. Then lightly squegge it toward the very bottom whicl still pulling tight. You'd really be just squegeeing it at the high points. Then you carefully remove the transfer tape and use a heat gun or torch and heat it in with your fingers. This is tough to describe...i need to make a mpeg video of this one of these days.
