Color has always been one of my weaknesses, too.
I wouldn't change anything - you have a great layout there, just the way it is.

Me too on the colour thing.
The layout looks great! I was thinking maybe a couple nice scrolls a shade lighter than the truck would look good on either side of the cow.
Be sure to post the finished job.

Thank you Raymond, you made my day. Felix, I acutally did do one using a blue outline. The guys in the shop vote against it, but I liked the blue myself. I'm gonna let the customer see both of them. Thank you for the input.

I agree with the scrollwork idea. I think that it would be a nice touch. Something to fill in the sides of the cow and yet not over-power the cow graphic. Nice Job!
The drop shadow will not be feathered if you run a cutline around that whole thing. You could try to match the color of the truck and use that background color to feather out towards that edge. That way you could make it work in one easy install. If this guy has other vehicles in other colors, you could air or hand brush a natural shadow after install.

Very Clean, that is great work! I wouldn't change a thing, but with drop shadow on the edge it may not work out right, even on clear with a white layer, I don't think it would look as good as your drawing. Can't wait to see it on the truck. Rick

Thank you everyone for the input. Good idea about the scroll work. I'm playin with it now. It's tough getting it to not look off centered because of the empty space below his right ear. Doing it on the edge was exactly the problem I was anticipating with the drop shadow. The white base could be tough to pull off and I don't think the guy is gonna go for any paint. I just had an idea of maybe using the "True shadow" vinyl for the shadow. It will be a bit sharp edged but might work ok.

Another thought on the drop shadow. Pick a colour a shade or two darker than the background colour, and just do a hard edge shadow rather than feathered with that.
I like the colours and the layout. Very rich and attractive.

I like it and I prefer the one with the blue outline. I agree with what Janette said on the shadow portion. Probably make it a lot easier with an Edge print.

Gonna take a little different tack on this, Bruce.
First, I don't know anything about the Edge device.
On the layout, would you consider "straight-lining" the word dairy? Then reduce the size of the cows head a bit, and surround it with some form of oval frame with scrollwork coming off each side, and towards the bottom of the oval.
I think the layout as is, is great, colors too. Just a thought or two, to add some jazz without going overboard.

i like the second one better.(with the blue outline, to introduce a "cool" color) nice clean layout and great color choices.
i would lose the flourish.(that particular flourish looks like an afterthought) just an opinion.
