Yep! Hot job Felix. The picture doesn't show much detail, how about a rundown of the materials used and what you did first. That gold script looks raised, how thick is it?

Felix, WOW, lotsa chips!!! Looks good! I really like your treatment of the sky. If I really had to pick at it, I would have tried to have the cactus's base in the scene rather than on the menu. I think it interupts the scene by suggesting that the presentation is mearly made up of layers insted of a gently flowing sculpture, as the rest of the graphic does. Good job! (You did ask me to pick) I'm sure your client will love it! Felix, how did you do on the pricing? Did you estimate it pretty close? I think an insight into your pricing process would be helpfull. $Numbers should not be necessary. Thanks for the post. Thanks for sharing! Happy Holidays! Joe Posted by pierre (Member # 1462) on :
Good job, Felix. Glad to see it posted.

Thanks for the input guys! Thanks for the "Pick" Joe.
Joe Rees, the Aurorita is 1.5" hdu cut with a jigsaw or bandsaw (I can't remember now). We (wife & I) gilded it with 23.5k crocodile. The banner under it is 1/8" acrylic I formed with a little propane torch.
As a base we used the same 1.5" hdu, with a 3/4" plywood backer. (I don't know how to translate to English the type of wood), It also has a French hanger for installation.
The rest is one shot & cal plus vinyl.
Technically its not finished, since I'm still working on Aurorita, the little doll that we're carving out of 2" HDU. She's going on the right side of the large cactus.
As far as pricing, whoever would like to know please email me. I don't mind sharing that but I won't post it since some people here are sensitive about pricing subjects.
I'm real happy you guys liked it! Thanks!!!!

I like it but it seems to be missing something . . . the jalapeno peppers . . yeah that's it! It needs a few red peppers to be Mexican . . . looks great.

What does that say Santo?

Roladrunner, where are you? Are you in the mole'?
I don't know, if you have eaten mole and I don't think the road runner would make a good addition. I just like the look of the landscape. Reminds me of RR & WC.

I think it sounds better without the translation Santo? "Mole" doesn't sound too appetizing! Probably tastes like chicken though ~ eh?

LOL!!! No, no. Mole as in "Mowlay". Its a spicy sauce with chocolate! LMAO!!
