This sign was created as a marquee for our new Rollercoaster for the 2001 season.
The logo was created at our corporate office. I designed the sign in scale in Corel 9.
The job was sub-contracted out in sections. First we sent our drawings to an engineer
for foundation and structural calculations. We had an on-site contractor dig and pour the foundation.
A local fabrication shop made the frame. We were going to construct the dimensional logo part in-house using signfoam, but after adding up material costs for the signfoam we used Symmetry Products out of Rhode Island. Symmetry made the sign out of a polystyrene core with an acrythane coating applied to the exterior, then finished with urethane paints. The foam sign was delivered to a local Sign Shop to add the neon and install on the existing frame.

We produce about 85% of the signs in our park in-house, but we love working with other sign folks
On projects like this!

hi Jim
it's a nice job but just a few pointers on posting pictures. You need to remove the letterhead address that you have included in the image address. so that it reads also when i went to the site that the picture was stored at I noticed the picture is over 200kbs which is a bit much for the web. so if you resave your picture at a lower res it won't affect it visually for viewing.

what does a job like that sell for????????

big bucks???
