Well it did show up, not very clear. The lettering and colors are much crisper on my screen. Any tips on how to save it for printing? Resolution, size, file type? Know any good card printers? Thanks Brad

Hey Brad, looks good!only thing would be the "quality handcrafted" might be tough to read at a smaller size

Hey Brad, I personally like the background on the first card better than the second. Try postcard press, www.postcardpress.com, I havent used them yet, but some other letterheads have, and I got some samples from them and they are really nice and pretty cheap ($60 for 1000 full color, one side). Just save your art as a .tif file, at 300 dpi. I think they have a template on how to set it up, check out their site for more info. Hope this helps!

Hey Brad. Postcard Press does great work at a great price. I have used them several times with great results each time. They have downloadable filetype instructions for about every major program including, Corel, Freehand, Illustrator, and Photoshop. The last one I sent in, I did filtering in photoshop and saved it as a eps file at 355 dpi. The directions they give you are very easy to comprehend, and be sure and check them over good. They will charge you for any corrections. I've never had to do that though, and you won't either more than likely. The main thing is getting the bleed and cut size right. Like I say, just download the directions for the program you will be using, and go from there.

Here's a card I recently designed for a customer..
I would show a shot of the scanned card but there's no point because it's absolutely identical, even the colors are dead-on.
I used the photoshop template although I modified it to print at 355 DPI instead of 300 DPI like their template is setup. They give directions for 355 DPI, but then provide a 300 DPI photoshop template.. doesnt make sense so I made a 355 template.. anyone that wants a copy is welcome to it.
Anyways.. I've been selling the 4/1 cards, full color on front and black on the back, and let the customer pick up the extra $12 for the black and put my contact info on a single line along the bottom of the card. That way every card that goes out is advertising my services as well.
