Here is one I did using Deka water based paints. The banner is 3'x10'. It took 4 hours to paint and I charged $400.00.

You're right Jimmy, When the customer ordered it in October, we briefly talked about some kinda fish like the one on his actual lure packaging, and I told him that a complete scene with a fisherman and Boat would "Tie" in nicely. I never know how detailed I'm going to get into the project until it's 'Brush to Banner" time. He was very happy and thought he got alot for his money. That's the best advertising I can get right there and the next guy will have to pay more. I don't want to get into a whole pricing thing here because that's never ending. I like these jobs the best because not many shops can do it. That's why I've changed my business name to Mike Meyer SIGN PAINTER. Sure, some customers go elsewhere because they didn't know I could do the "Stickers." That's O.K. I'd rather wet a brush anyway. So Dog me fur Low Ballin'...my only regret is that I didn't have the guys in the Canoe drinkin' GRAIN BELT!!!!

Mike,
Wow! I'm druling on the keyboard!
Of course you know this goes way beyond the realm of sign painting. This is what we need to see painted on the ceiling of cathedrals, instead of those naked people.

Great work Mike. Do you use GB count in your pricing formuler.

Again Mr. Davis brings up an interesting point....for the record....the letters, "GB" correspond with the product known as "GRAIN BELT". The question being, do I use my pricing formula in conjuntion with Grain Belt. The anwser is YES. The price is cheaper if the customer brings in a twelvy of course. Show me a Beer that advertises a Sign from the 1940's on EVERY bottle sold! Your honor, no further questions...........
Let's get crackin'!

Now that's what I call a well rounded piece of advertising on canvas.
Hell I haven't seen a banner done so nicely in a long time. I don't even do banners anymore. But if I did it would look comparible to this one.
Just couldn't paint it that fast
Way to go Mr Mike Myer Sign Painter!

Hey Rich! "The land of sky blue waters" was "Hamm's". They still make it! It's not made here anymore, either is Schmidt Beer, or "Schmidt's" as it is called now. They put the "S" back on it for some reason. Remember the "Sport Pack's", those were classic! The Hamm's Bear will probably never be able to come back under the "Joe Camel" laws that Cigarette Companies got slapped with. It would be too inviting to children. Oh well, it sure was fun to watch the commercials with the beating drum and the Hamm's Bear in a Canoe with some forest creatures during a Twins game when they were at the old Met! Halsey Hall, Ray Scott, Herb Carneal. I think this is Herb's 40 th year Broadcasting! Wow! It's only 6:46 am and 9 degrees outside but a Hamm's sure sounds good about now, naw, I'll stick to Grain Belt! When are you coming back to Minnesota? Ya got family here? Plenty of Grain Belt! Mark Fair is the man for Pork Rind investagations!
