I'm posting this for Dana.
Love the honey comb effect!
Nice Job!
Here's what she says about it.
"I did this panel for Dave Sherby when I went and spent a week working with him in his shop. It's all vinyl... was a little paraniod about having it posted because of that, but what the heck. I actually really liked the way it turned out.
Seems that Dave did, too...
it's the first thing he hung on the wall in his office area of his shop! And I used the new font I downloaded from Letterville!
Just goes to prove that a sign done all in vinyl doesn't hafta be ugly!! ..... Dana"

"Work smart - Play hard"
Wanna know how I did it? Haha, I am trying to figure out how I can make it sound really hard and alot of work... oh, well, might as well tell the truth...
The panel is about an 18" square of beige celtec that I sprayed with dark brown Krylon and layed atop a sheet of mini bubble wrap. Then I put on the outlines and cut the whole thing out with my new little RotoZip tool (Thanks Dad!)
The banner is green vinyl sprayed with purple Krylon and then layed atop crumpled up plastic. I just used Krylon on the other fades, too. The bee is clipart from the PureGold cd and is metallic gold and silver.
Gee, I slaved for hours over a hot plotter and cans of Krylon to make it...

"You won't get wise with the sleep still in your eyes, no matter what your dream may be" - Rush
Well low and behold, Dana remembered that and presented me with that wonderful gift when she came to my shop to work with me for a week. I made the mistake of moving into the new shop before it was finished. I had nothing on the walls, many shelves and benches to build and the exterior siding to put on yet. Well at least now I have something on my wall.
Thanks again Dana for all your help and the beautiful sign. I hope your efforts were worth it for you.
