After visiting Denver a few years ago and hearing how little snow you guys get, I told everyone that I wanted to move there. They didn't believe what I was told about your winters. Now I can show them this.

Hey Jim
I'm not sure right offhand where Wellington is, but I can assure you that over here in Paonia(western slope), we've been getting plenty of snow (well, not huge amounts, the usual 4"-6" per little storm)Shoveled 3 times today and last I looked, it was coming down again. Want I should send ya over some?

Yep I saw the snow in Vegas and everyone here in the lower desert is having a good laugh!
As long as weather stats have been recorded it's snowed only once in my town, usually we get to look at the snow from afar because the mountains immediately surrounding town (5,000ft elevation) get snowcaps on occassion.

Oops,Forgot to update my info. Wellington is 10 miles from Fort Collins,That where I'm at now.Wellington was too small(1500) So we moved last spring.Fort Collins is far northern colorado,We're about 30 miles from WYO.
No thank you Karen,You my keep all that white stuff over there.I've only had to get the shovel out once so far this year.LOL,I like it....
