Hi everyone,

I understand some were upset about my omission of the Bullboard's role in coordinating the FKAB sign in November's SOTT Letterhead News column.

I didn't intend to slight anyone. I had to make cuts to make the column fit, and as I recall, the mention of the Bullboard ended up on the "cutting-room floor." In hindsight, that wasn't the right decision. I apologize. The site has been a valuable resource for me and many others.

I'll write a clarification note mentioning the Bullboard's role in the project to include in the February issue. It will appear within ST Update, which is where we place such notes.

Sincerely,

Steve Aust

Apology accepted Steve. I considered contacting you to ask why. Since ST owns SignWeb, I just assumed it was a business decision.

Signs Of The Times will always remain special to me. When I was just starting out, my only window of information about the sign biz were the pages of ST Magazine. That's where I first discovered the Letterhead Movement.

That discovery resulted in our first live meet back in 1983. It was there I first met Todd Swormstedt. New Letterheads will never know how much this one guy did to get this Letterhead thing really rolling. Todd's passion for Letterheads was contagious. Nobody worked harder than Todd. He used ST Magazine to spread the word. I can still remember him being the first one to grab a broom, take out the trash or anything else needed at meets.

When this website was first launched back in 1995, my first call was to ST Magazine. We were excited about the idea of working together with all the magazines. SignCraft, AMAL and AutoArt are the only publications that have taken advantage of that offer. The door is always open.

Appreciate your post Steve. Thank You.

In this day and age of "non-responsibility" it is always refreshing to see someone with BACKBONE!
I applaude [Applause] Your stance on this matter

I have talked with Steve on the phone, and met him in Atlantic City. He really is a super guy, not just saying things to make anyone feel goodor get himself out of a jam.
