Forgive me this small indulgence but I wanted to take a moment and remember one of your fellow Brothers of the Brush. Today is two years that he left for that great Letterhead Meet in the sky.
Bill, thank you again for the painting. I will always cherish it.

Nice to see another of Bill's great work.
Will enjoy the Bill Riedel section when Steve gets it done. Or at least enough to post.
Thanks Kim!

I never had the opportunity to meet him, but I love the video I've got. He must have been really special to alot of people from the comments I've seen on this board.

Kim, I have always been enthralled at the elegant beauty your father could coax out of any letter of the alphabet. His contributions to our craft are timeless, unique and irreplaceable. We know you miss him greatly. We do too.

It was my pleasure Kimberly. We will miss your Dad, but we are very lucky to have found you. You bring a lot to this BB, thank you.

I have to agree, with Bill. I never met your dad, but from all the research I did while I was doing the documentary on him, it almost seemed like I got to know him. And also you are a great gal to this community, I'm honored and glad to have met you! Great painting Bill...

I just wanted to add: It is unfortunate that Al is no longer here, but how fortunate we all are to have Kim, who continues the same loving spirit of her father. Thanks Kim, for making our days brighter.

Nice portrait, sure has a lot of life! I love the video, too, Kimberly. What year was it made in? For all of you that haven't seen it, the short movie was a demonstration of Al Zanetti working with showcard lettering and showing us how to chisel and pull the brush by turning, and such. It brings me back to my high school art teacher back in the 60's! What a wonderful keepsake, Kimberly, especially to have it on film way back then. It was movie cameras back then. I'm sure you have a bitter sweet memory when you watch that. I lost my dad that year in December also, if you remember.
