We are doing some hand carving and hand routing. For wide strokes, are there wide v-carve router bits available for hand routers? I have seen some articles with 120 & 150 degree bits being used on CNC routers. Is there a supplier?

Grizzly has all kinds of router bits. One v-groove bit is 1.25''diameter.

I don't know about doing it with a hand router but Gerber has V-carving bits for around $60/each in many different degrees up to 150.

Also, Whiteside Machine has some I think. Belin Tools might have up to 120 degrees.

I don't think you're going to enjoy muscling a wide parting bit. They're very unforgiving.

You might want to consider a parting chisel & mallet.
