Last year at the Atlantic City show I saw a Transfer Tape machine that had two rollers and a handle that you fed your tap and weeding vinyl through and cranked a handle. Does anyone have that machine and if so is it anygood? I am trying to find it online someplace but havnt been able to find it. Any info would be appreciated.

We had one at one time but really didn't like it. It was too unpredictable and wouldn't track very straight. We rigged our own version up on our weed table. See SignCraft Mar./Apr. 2003 page 12 for our version. If you need more info, e-mail me.
Also see SignCraft Sept./Oct. 2001 page 14. Some one else takes another approach.
I'm pretty sure someone else on this web site had another solution a while back.
Hope you can find something that works for you. [Smile]
p.s. I notice this is your first post! Welcome to Letterville!

Probably 10 years or more ago I watched as about 3 guys in suits at a trade show pumped the crowd up to see the invention that would amaze everyone. Those three professional looking guys turned into the three stooges really fast once they hooked up the vinyl and started cranking the handle! [Big Grin] What a mess! lol

You still have to go back and weed out the centers. [Roll Eyes]

Edit- Sorry you were looking for a tape applicator, not a weeding machine. Oh well, it was pretty funny to watch though.

That was the "sheeter". Gregory, Inc. sells it. I had one and returned it for the same reasons a Jane.
