Since Bushie took the time to get these to me so fast, I'm going to post them here in their raw form. We've got a really busy day tomorrow, but between Gail and I, we'll have a page up asap.

Karyn ... you will have to ask Gail why she "added" a little something to the classic Bundaberg Rum Bear on the fridge. Maybe she was thinking of Devo .... big and hairy, and ....
Next pic is the front of the fridge done by Peter our host. Coral Trout ... top tucker ... ie best reef fish to eat.
Darren Watkins (another Oz Letterhead "Legend") put our favourite Queensland Beer label on the other side of the fridge. He definately had plenty of samples lying around to go by.
Next Pic is Devo (Gail's mate) getting stuck into the Gold Leaf panels in John Jordon's workshop.
Next is the Mural I did (with help) for the Royal Flying Doctor Base in Cairns. It's 3.6m (12ft) x 8.4m (28ft) on weatherboard sheets and will be erected, after being clear coated, on their new hanger wall at Cairns Airport.
The "Croc" ... Peter Bedggood's unfinished panel 4x6. When does a Meet host find time to finish his own thing?
JJ's (John Jordon) Prize winning rendition of the meet logo. What else can I say, except his prize wasn't a Sign Gold starter kit
The Zoo Bus!
These are just a taste of what a fantastic meet it was. You have to understand it was held in far north Queensland ... a two hour flight for us in the south of Queensland!!!! But we had heads from south Australia turn up! Ron rode his BMW bike 4 DAYS from Canberra!
Well, have to sign off here ... been awake for 20+ hours getting home today.

Truly fantastic work, why does Australia have to be so far away?
Posted by Gail & Dave Beattie (Member # 572) on :
well folks it's sorta done... the Cairns Page I mean
there are still heaps of pics to come in and they will be added just as soon as I get them
A story on the event is next and for that I will be working with Suzy n Pete to get all the details correct... (suzy can spell, I can write & pete can lift heavy things)
for those that missed the show, I know you will be kickin yourselves the folk who attended had a blast, what with Elvis adding to Simon's talent and all those prawns to eat and the paintin to do, it was just one of those special events that we will all be talking about for a long, long time.
yeah Bill I know that Oz is a long way away... but like Jordo keeps saying, suprisingly it's the same distance from Sydney to La, as it is from LA to Sydney! (tongue in cheek)
One day we would like to see all our up-over friends find their ways down south to see what a letterheads meet Oz style is all about
till then enjoy the pics
cheers gail (aka mum)

Another outstanding job of covering this meet Gail. Is John Jordan always in heat? BTW! Barb thought that bear's thing was huge. Please don't tell her any different.

jordo reconds it's the only polar bear he's ever seen that was circumsized... but i just wondered what he was doing checkin out bears, in that way (wink) he's just a randy old bugger!
after 12mths living in qld i was sorta almost used to the heat. but my heart went out to the victorians, cause mate i can tell ya it was bloody hot that far north
all together a great time
