My husband was helping me install some vinyl boat names this weekend. When we were cleaning up he said, "This is like eating an artichoke, when you're finished you have more garbage than when you began." I smiled and remembered all the posts here about how much extra garbage is generated working with vinyl.

Thanks Dawn, that brought a smile to my face. Nice poetic summation of a "sticky" subject.

Ah, I just love artichokes... all steamed up... dipping them in garlic butter and mayonnaise...
When I lived in California, I was near Castroville, which is the artichoke capital of the world. Bags of cheap artichokes... and Henry's! Woo Hoo!
Thanks for the memories...

Here's one for you, Bruce...
Artichokes draped with pesto and covered with a slice of Provolone cheese. Toss it in the oven at 350 for about 5 minutes.
Yummy Rapid

When you have Lobster you pay by the pound and throw away more then a 1/4 of it in wasted product! Posted by Bruce Bowers (Member # 892) on :
oh man... another awesome memory. Going to PEI and eating lobster at a church hall, another up by Rustico, dining in Charlettetown (sp).
