have a Gerber 4b signmaker with graphix advantage software..I'm not sure, but I think the dongle is dead..I tried contacting Gerber..they want to charge me $30.00 to put me through to a tech.Does anyone have a suggestions in getting this ole machine running again..I understand that I can put in a CAD Link Fast Board and run my existing Signlab software..anyone want to trade?? I have the Graphix Advantage LMK Module including all the manuals that I could trade or give me a quote for you CAD Link board in addition, I have the Brush script and general symbols font modules to sell or trade.

If your dongle is dead then the Grafix Advantage software won't launch. Don't know for a fact, but I'd be surprised if SignLab didn't drive the LMK board .... so if the board is good there's little reason to switch.

I have never personally dealt with an lmk setup but a dealer has told me that Signlabs 4B with the LMK driver in Signlab e61 does drive an LMK kit.

Since this driver is a clone of Signlabs "Gerber HS/GS" driver, any version of Signlab may drive it with the Gerber HS/GS driver

The only thing is you may need a password to activate the "Gerber Extended driver" feature, or you may have that enabled allready.

Wish i could say i was on the phone with a user with the machine actually cutting in the background, but i can only relay the results of a dealers experience.

Hey Rob...

How do I get to this "classified section"? I tried to check the auction page, but couldn't find it there.

Thanks for any help.

James,
You can get to the classified page by scrolling down on the main BB page and clicking on Classified....just under The Portfolio link.
