Has anyone ever seen a set of templates for boats similar to Digital Auto Graphics?

Digital Auto Graphics has about a dozen, but a full collection would help us for boats just as it does for trucks, etc.

Hi Paul, I'd be interested too if you find a source for these. Are you planning to use the templates to save an extra trip to the boat to measure? My experience here with new boats is that same make and model, same year can have differences in placement of hardware, portholes, stripes, etc. that affects the name. So I always personally check each boat.

Dawn:

The template wouldn't replace the measuring, but would get you close in case the boat wasn't available or nearby yet.

YOu could always measure the boat before doing the final job, but you could provide a cost estimate and design drawings much sooner.

I'm working on my second airplane in as many weeks. Betcha there aren't any templates out there for those, either. (I draw my own.) [Razz]

I think the best template is through a digital camera. If you don't own one, you should check into it.....line drawing templates aren't nearly as impressive as using a photo of the real thing..with graphics digitally incorporated. IMHO.
