3.) Alphabets of Atkinson Volume #1 by The Fontry!
One dozen of the finest examples of Art Nouveau lettering anywhere! The Alphabets of Atkinson, Volume One, represents the best-of-the-best by sign-industry legend Frank H. Atkinson. His book, Sign Painting was published almost 100 years ago and has become the artistic standard for generations of signpainters and computer-aided signmakers. The dozen Alphabets of Atkinson cover the gamut of historical styles, from ornate tuscans to flowing scripts, all of which expertly complement a secondary range of Atkinson's less-elaborate workhorse styles that are still classics in their own right. There's something here for every signmaker, from the ordinary to the extraordinary. All 12 alphabets have complete character ranges and are published on CD. Thanks to Mike Atkins at The Fontry for supplying this prize. Check out this font collection at http://www.thefontry.com

Wow! Thanks!. Actually I missed the draw as I was trying to design some classy signage for a local taxi, and from there, my mind wandered off to consider the possibilities of marketing a CD of Fullstops in 2000 different fonts- possibly in PSD, CDR, AI, EPS, JPG, BMP, Tiff, CMX, and Mac-compatible too.
P.S. In this drought, we need a new bore hole & windmill for water. I wonder if I join enough of these new holes together, whether they'd be long enough for the job. Do we get a choice- I'd like 4" imperial please. While I wait, the CD would be lovely! (edited to add the PS)

Thanks One Shot and Letterville, this is the best thing that has happened to me in a while. I have to admit that I haven't been to the BB for a few months as my sister just went through a laryngectomy surgery for throat cancer, so winning anything has brightened my day greatly vitalsignsbykymi@aol.com Posted by Miles Cullinane (Member # 980) on :
