Thanks for putting up with me last couple weeks as I was apprehensive about going "under" for my sinus surgery, but, still the same, I do personally want to thank you for all your thoughts and prayers, and letters. I felt very special. It was very minor, and I want to tell you the doctor was fantastic and I have been very active everyday. I feel great! I was a bit shaky about having anything done to my body, but, now, I would suggest that to anyone that needs this for any reason. I am going to ride my bike today and have only needed about 2 days to recup erate. Being careful and eating and resting properly is the key. Unless you do these things and follow the doctor's instructions, one would have problems. Well, to say the least, the surgery went off well without a hitch. I am back in the saddle again! Thanks, Bruce!
It's amazing how many of you have had this done, or are suffering due to the fact that a doctor never mentioned it. I always thought it to be a radical thing done to others, never thought I needed it. Why would I? I could breathe fine. Well, after a catscan for my swollen jaw, is the time I found out I had a blockage and then an opening on the other side. If I wouldn't have pushed my primary care physician to write a referral to an ENT, and he wouldn't have suggested a catscan, I never would have known. Well, at least I am getting a lot more oxygen and that is something we all need to heal and maintain! I am a very happy camper. It's amazing what we don't know sometimes.

Hey Deb, it's great to see you are up and running on four cylinders again and everything went well. I'll be in touch. Stay well and go and get em'. Posted by Deb Fowler (Member # 1039) on :
Hey I feel spoiled! off topic off topic, well, I was curious to know how everything worked so I went ahead and had a colonoscopy last Oct. and it was a breeze! No pain, no cramps, no nothing. Don't let that scare you. Just get sedated. Look, I wouldn't bring this up but Bob did! Ha, you know, it is wonderful what technology we have today, and we should all have regular checkups, and I know we hate them. Gals with the mammograms and guys with some other tests. Just love yourselves and take care, share ideas support each other, and as Karen says... BREATHE DEEPLY!" Yesserie!
