My firstborn is getting married next week and WOW!

Apparently I'm speechless and I am really happy!

Some of you have met Emily and heck, Sonny Franks knew her when she was 5 years old.

Just a heads up and shout of joy!

I don't seem to recall him asking for anyone's permission.
C'mon, I wanna see a copy of this guys last tax return as well as a statutory declaration stating his long term goals.
Did he even bother to fill out a Statement of Intent before dating your daughter?
For goodness sake woman, the guy probably can't even spell ampersand, let alone mark one out & cut it in with a worn out oversize brush on a rendered masonary wall!
What is wrong with the youth of today I ask you?

(Congrats anyway from a father of 3 aliens, I mean females, all of which are yet to discover the oposite sex)

please add our congrats to the mix for your 'first born'
may their lives together be blessed will all things wonderful and sadnesses be very few

i got a ph call last week from my 'first born'
she tells me that she has news...
i say when are you due?
she says oh that, well yes ok, in december
but guess what, we are getting married!

now call me silly (most do) but after 5 kids, this one will be number 6, i'd say 'it's about bloody time!

the father of my grandkids tells me that it won't cost very much cause it's going to be a low key event

i say thats good mate... start saving

i figure after all of the baby cloths, baby furniture, roof over their heads (a number of times) and food on the table, not to mention motor cars and electrical appliances devo and i have donated to their lives in the last 10 years
we're just about done
hehehe

and anyway there will probably be a letterhead meeting i will have to attend that weekend (i may have to twist someone arm to get em to put one on) so i think i'll just wait for it to come out on video

Don Hulsey, it's funny you say that, because Emy and John are just like you and Dora when they are together. He's an artist too so we may be able to drag him to a Letterhead meet one day LOL.

Emy is not pregnant right now. John bought her a brand new car the other Wednesday and called last night and tonight from the new house he's gotten for them to live in. The lights were not turned on yet but he was telling her what the place looked like with a flash light in tow. This whole thing with these two is so romantic...wait till I get a chance to fill you all in!
