I have a .tiff file that I need to turn into a vector.
What is the simplest way in either CorelDraw 8 or Vinyl Express Master.
This is a design that is being used in my daughters select soccer club and they want to use it on t-shirts, so I believe they will need the color seperations for each screen. I was just sent this file with the request. I am waiting to hear back on some questions I have.
Thanks
Troy

If you have Corel 8, the CorelTrace should do it. In PhotoPaint you can adjust contrast and mask shapes for easier vectoring. I believe CorelTrace will open a .tif; if not, PP converts it to .cpt easy enough.

Troy,
Send me your file. I will convert it for you if you wish.
Hope all is well with Penny and the kids!

sometimes a .tif file can be converted into seperations without vectorizing. If you make a copy of the file, then select all of each color with the magic wand, you can create a black & white .tif file for each color.
This has been the quicker solution for me on many occassions when the detail involved makes vectorizing less feasible.

Corel Photopaint and possibly Draw should be able to print seperations directly from the TIF.
CorelTrace will open a TIF and creates a vector file that can be opened in Draw.
If you don't have Trace, you can "Posterize" the TIF, create masks, convert the masks to paths & export the paths to draw.
