Well, there we were cruising around the airport looking for Hari Krishnas for the pamphlets and we ran into a little lost Ozzie, John Jordan is now safe and sound here in good ol' Washington State.
anybody wanting to claim the little fella can call us here at 425 290-7523. no need to bring proof of ownership, just come get him! [Wink] Mike

Thanks, Spike. Would you wrap him up and mail him to Cairns (economy-air mail) by the first weekend of October.(I don't think he'll put up too much of a fight) Please see that he brings a few bits of variegated leaf as excess baggage.
We'll claim him when we get up there.
Thanks,Ian

P.S. Watch him, Mike, I think he may have his eye on Rhonda [Wink] she may need to accompany him back here to ensure he doesn't gild the words "Return to Sender" on himself and end up back in Washington State again.

Hey there Mike, ...and to think when we packaged him up and sent him off from our panel jam a few months back we would never see him again. Careful mate he bites! heheheh G'day John! hey I thought you were taking me with ya. Guess my ticket got lost in the mail again.

You gunna try to drag mike and Rhonda back to oz John? We'd love to catch up again, unfortunately I wont be going to this years meet in Cairns, just too expensive and i've been working out of town and interstate a lot here so its just not going to happen.

Anyway have fun up there, wish I was there!

Cheers big ears!

Not only is he a real gentleman, he is one talented little bugger. It was funny to see him on Quebec TV and have subtitles written in french underneath him... Funny, I understood what he said, it was the announcer I had trouble with... LOL!

To all replies,

Thanks for all the wrap ups, but I only try to be my humble self and to help any letterheads that ask for assistance.

To all those who care or are interested, , via the internet, I have just learned that I have been awarded "Life" membership of the Sign Association of Australia.

Thanks again,
Aussie John

he might be a clever little bugger but he's a real charmer, so you blokes have to be careful with him around your ladies...

as tricky as they come and as talented as can be, but for heavens sake, don't feed him after midnight!

let me be the first to congratulate you Jordo on the life membership honor.... it couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke!

after all the years he's given to the sign industry in Oz, and the countless hours of patience he has show to all who wish to learn, Jordo has well earnt the respect and admiration he recieves both at home and up-over

we'll raise a class in cairns to the new life member... and then we'll blow him up in true Oz style!

cheers mate

I last saw John in Ireland. Miles seemed to have mistook him for a leprechaun and was following him with a net, trying to catch him and get that pot of gold. Good choice, given all John knows about gilding is likely worth more than what a leprechaun would give up. [Wink]

Congrats on the Life Membership. Crikey, they waited long enough, didn't they? [Roll Eyes]

Dad, congratulations on your "Life Membership", I'm proud to say "Thats my Dad". The love you have for our trade is inspiring, you travel the world ready to pass on any information that you have learnt over the years. I hope that we would all take a leaf out of your book and try to help any of those who want to improve their skills in the trade. A big "Happy Fathers Day" for last sunday.
Love you Dad
Paul
