HI gang. I'm trying to buy some clipart from beeline but there's nothing on the website. Did these people crash & burn or am I looking at the wrong site? (maddog-graphics & beeline-clipart)

Got a letter a few months ago from Bee-Line stating that they're no longer affiliated with Maddog Graphix. Check the following website. www.bee-line.dk
A second page with new products (in the letter), states that they can be ordered from SignWarehouse; so you might want to check there also.

I had some clip art from Beeline.... nice stuff, except for the copyright info which says you can't use any image for profit, only for individual private use.........???!!! There's a wide door there for litigation if they wanted to get nasty and you made a big Christmas sign using one of their images. Of course there are ways around it, but still the copyright info with the package was a rude awakening to what you can't use their stuff for. Good luck.

Why would anyone purchase clipart for over $100.00 per disk if they're not alllowed to make money with it?? It seems to me there is a misunderstanding here. I just got an e-mail from Sign Warehouse with a special on 3 versions of BeeLine clipart. I would imagine they might have an answer to it.

I looked into a similar issue, although not to any great degree, but I wanted to use some Hawaiian clipart images to make stickers, since there is a lot of demand for hawaiian stickers from tourists.
The owner of the collection I was using explained that if I was typesetting a menu for example, I could add some clip art & sell the menu design. But if I was just reproducing the clipart as an image for sale, even if I did some work making it a sticker, I was "reselling the image" in violation of the copyright.
IMO, incorporating an image into sign design, & production is a good example of what the clip-art is sold for, but just cutting as a sticker is a good example of where their copyrights are going to come into play.
