does anyone know the font that "harry and david" use in their logo....it's a specialty food shop ...it's a script but not any that i have...i look on their website to see if i could bring it into corel trace...but it had shadow and traced like crap. i know this is a long shot but what the heck....thanks

Kaufmann....is close but no exact. I think they modified it to make a custom version.

yeah i hate when they do that! now they'll have to send me a clean bmp so i can corel trace it.

Before you ask for the bitmap, ask for a vector file first. A company of that size probably has art department who could e-mail you a copy ready to go, with out the hassle of having to trace it.

Sorry Karyn. Couldn't help. Checked all my fonts and none of em matched. Truth be told, the search probably took longer than it would've taken to scan and digitize. Was looking for a font or two anyhow so the search wasn't a total waste of time.

"The Font Thing" to the rescue again. Typed "Harry and David" into the sample area and all fonts showed as such. Then it was just a matter of browsing all sources. Worked well, but no matches.

If you're looking for a font similar to it but to type in something other than the logo then keep looking, I guess. If it's the logo you're after, I'm sure it's available already in vector format from some legal sources; if there really are any.
