Do you suppose that if I start to turn out some really crappy sign work (crappier than usual) someone will hire me to help identify crappy signs and prevent them from being made...... for big bucks? Or maybe just hire me to get me off the streets?

The best thing is that the more and more these people are caught and punished MAYBE, just MAYBE some other potential virii makers will think twice.

No, Laura...
I think people like this are just real bungholes that derive pleasure in hurting other people. They are nothing more than a cyber version of the playground bully only these people are too cowardly to actually do something like that to your face. They hide behind their keyboards and wreak havoc on others, laughing and giggling... Oh look what I did... Hehehehehehehehe...
Personally, I consider what this PUNK did to be nothing short of sabotague and deserves to be fittingly punished. Any computer affected should be a seperate charge of destruction of property in the least. A sentence of one month in jail for every computer affected... He would spend a lifetime in prison... and rightfully so.
I also think that anyone who suffered damage from this should be able to file a civil lawsuit and recoup the financial damages. Imagine... Thousands of lawsuits @ $20k apiece... That would take the little bastard forever to pay off.
The punishments must be so severe that anyone would have to rethink their intentions of developing a virus and launching it. It is a shame that fear of punishment seems to do little to deter these people.
I do have an idea involving a large bench vise and a baseball bat but I will have to save it for another time.

Hey Brice! Forget the vice and ball bat...I think that in this case....the ancient art of Drawing & Quartering, should be revived!
