At long last we have the very beginnings of the makings of an interior to our new shop. The trusses are now up as is much of the plywood roof. Tomorrow we start the stick framing on the fancy bits. Daylight still peeks through in places, but by tomorrow it should be mostly covered. The shingles were started today.
I've included a couple of pics of the interior spaces... a bit hard without a super duty wide angle lens. You still have to use your imagination quite a bit, but it's coming along nicely.
The shop space is gorgeous with lots of room to do multiple projects at once. About half the ceiling height is 12 feet with the middle section vaulted to a little over 21 feet. We are going with radiant heat (Natural gas) It should be very efficient and very comfortable to work in.
The studio is two levels, the bottom one being the client meeting area/library. The upper level is reserved as my creative/design area. The desk will wrap around the windows. The ceiling will be vaulted & curved with much theme work to enhance it. We are installing radiant heat in this area as well, but it will be infloor, electric, radiant heat under the tile floor.

You are having entirely too much fun. Can't you complain about hitting your thumb, or being sore, or something!
Keep the pictures coming. For us mere mortals they are great inspiration.
I would come up and help, but I have these MDO panels to coat out, you know.

Great job, Dan!
You are a hard worker, I can vouch for that! The building looks great especially two levels, and I do like the sky showing through, so why not some solar panels or skylights?? You may think I am crazy but I think visualize the entire building finished and keeping the blue sky showing through! That's actually what caught my eye. What do you think?
