I design in Illustrator and transfer to Flexi 7.0 to output. I am trying to transfer a design that resembles a heart monitor, but when I open it in flexi it makes the line hollowed out in some places. I am wondering if there is a way to weld in illustrator, like flexi has. I am doing this job today so I need help ASAP.

Thanks for your help

If you mean that your lines do not connect than you can use your "direct selection tool", select the 2 unconnected nodes, go to "object", "path" then "join", and it should connect.

If you are trying to weld 2 shapes together then you select the 2 items, then go to "window", "show pathfinder" a window will pop up then "unite"

Richard, I too use Illustrator to design and Flexi to cut. There is a weld tool in Flexi you can use too.

I suspect that in Illustrator you may have some of the objects filled and some of them stroked. Select them and see if you get the question marks in the fill and stroke boxes in the color window. It may look like one object in preview mode but actually be a group of objects.

Either way, do what Rick said.
