I had to see these two images together, thought some of you might also like to without having to pull 'em together yourself...
Thanks again to Joe for the vision to get so many "suckers" involved carving bits n pieces (& talk about pulling 'em together)
Also, in case he's been left out of the praise lately, thanks to the logo designer, Ghyslain Grenier from l'Enseignerie in Lévis, Quebec.

Doug,
Ya just had to do it huh .......replacing the pencil with the pencil sharpener is now very obvious......Terry made me do it or he wouldn't play .....thats my story!
Thanks, they did come out pretty much the same though. I kinda like our gold it little better.
Thanks for tagging along Doug!

Hi Dan, I believe that you are the perfect one to have the FKAB logo. You have the ideal place to display it properly. It should bring you an added amount of traffic from the sign community. Having painted the picture of the hotel, I feel good knowing it will have a good home.

A special thanks here also to Rodger Macmunn from Sharbot Lake, Onterio. He's a former trucker and he is going to crate this baby and he's going to ask his trucker friends to get it to Dan.
Rodger!

I'm sure that any of the folks who worked on this beautiful piece (and a whole lot of others) are just as deserving as I to win this piece. And I'm sure all whould have provided a great home for it.
Roger Macmunn was kind enough to phone me and talk with me regarding the arrangements he has made to send it my way. I'm sure it will arrive safe & sound. Thank you for your efforts in this regard!
It won't be in my hands for a while however, which is OK as my shop/studio is still very much in the construction stage, but coming along nicely.
I stood in my studio today for a while & pondered just how I would display this gorgeous piece. And I know just the place. I will build a custom alcove into the wall with lighting dedicated to make that beautiful gold shine. Count on it.
