My mom is headin up there this weekend for some kayaking and after seeing what's going on in Phoenix (dry stations and others charging $5/gallon) we're wondering if Prescott has been affected too. Things are OK here in Havasu, just the normal price gouging cause of all the tourists!

Price gouging the tourists? oOhhh, so that must mean the residents have a special price card showing that they live there? hehehehe ummm. Sure sounds neigbourly

Stickie,
Are you serious? $5/gallon? Oh my! Gas is almost $2 a gallon between here and Georgia. I could not imagine it at $5 a gallon.

Thanks Bob!
Linda, most of the gas stations in the Phoenix area are around $2.30/gallon, some are charging $3.99 and a couple are at $4.99.. They're all taking advantage of a broken pipeline which is causing a "shortage".. ironically the line has been fixed but now there's red tape they have to jump through in order to get gas flowing again.
Joey, well... the grocery stores have membership cards for the locals, why not the gas stations too? Actually the gas stations are charging everyone the same price, but here the price is held higher because of tourism and all the people bringing their boats with them. When everyone else's prices dropped at the start of the "war", ours stayed in the same spot.
