Is there a difference between these 2 names. Has anyone had experience with the prcision board? My main supplier (gives me 60 days) only carries the precision board. Thanx

Hooo, Mama! Here we go. I'll wait a while before I give you my input.

Do a search on this board if you want opinions! I use Precision Board and the only problem I've had so far is when I laminated to MDO and it started to pull away after two years. I do like their WB primers. I honestly don't believe there is a big difference, but I'm sure others disagree!

Well I have to say I like I have used both, not a ton of both but I have used both. In our area the word "signfoam" has become like "kleenex" just a brand asked for although precision board to me is a much superior company to deal with.
Top notch customer service along with all the tools and supplies you need to finish the job such as fillers, adhesives, primers and so on.
I'd say your supplier knows what he's doing.

I want to hear Pierre's take on it.

I can't make up my mind on either brand, but have been using Signfoam more recently than PB. Then there's Jasper board now too. Haven't tried that yet, but once the router table and sandblast operations are fully in place, I'll be selecting one brand that we'll use exclusively at a price some of the larger-volume users get it for. I appreciate the HDU products better now since our last discussion. It is still, nonetheless, pricey and often time-consuming to work with. But, then, so were the methods and materials before HDU. How soon one forgets!
