The Man who coached the US Hockey team in 1980 died yesterday in a van roll-over. If ya know Hockey, ya knew Herbie! A terrible loss. About 5 years ago my son was 9 and we were at a Hockey game in Rochester and Caleb did not know yet who Herbie was, I told him to take his Program and ask that guy standing near the boards for his autograph. Herbis was most gracious and talked to him for awhile and signed the program."80 Gold" Herb Brooks. I'm ready for Snow, and Ice now more than ever! We'll miss you Herbie! Bring on the CANADIANS!!
