Well, my daughter that lives with us while her husband is in Iraq is not feeling normal. She is a week overdue and is feeling very un-comfortable. This will be her second and I don't know if I am more excited with this one or with the first.
This will make 4 grandchildren in 4 years.

Nothing yet. I sleep all night with one eye open and one closed. Needless to say, I was soooooo tired this morning. She went to the dr. today and the dr. said that Fri. she'll induce if Sarah hasn't had it yet. We covet your prayers as the nurse kept losing the heartbeat the other day when Sarah was going through a baby stress test.

Laura, I've been the father but not the grandpa yet.
What I wouldn't give for a video of what went on in the father's waiting room the night my eldest son was born. Hang in there!

Still waiting. 12 days overdue. If nothing tonight, she goes into the hospital in the morning and gets induced. What a thing to happen during a power outage.

9lbs 5 ozs and 21.5" long. Born Fri 7:36 pm. I was in the delivery along with my other daughter, Ellen, father's sister, Lisa, and my daughter's best friend. Everything went fine and she laughed through delivery, like she did with the first one.
If I knew now to post apic, I would.

Laughed during the delivery??!! You don't hear of that happening very often. Glad to hear everything is ok. That's one big baby. Mine were 5lbs and 5lbs 13 oz--They hurt enough. I would not want a 9+ pounder! Happy days ahead!

Congrats!
That's a big baby. My daughter was 8 lbs. 11.5 oz. 21.5". I thought she was big and it definately wasn't funny. But I didn't have the pain meds either!

I had to read this post because I haven't been able to check in for a while, and after the power going off last week I read the wrong meaning into the heading. Anyway, Congratulations Laura and to your daughter. best of luck to all.
