My wife and I decided to move back to Colorado this last week. And in a strange Coincidence the old shop I use to manage is closing and selling their building. So I just put a bid in on it. Its over 5000sqft.. Its HUGE.. I figure we can live in half and run the shop in the other half. Does anyone else here on the board live in Colorado.. Hopefully in a year or so I would like to try and do a letterhead meet in Canon City..Anyone Game. Just so excited I really miss Colorado.

First of all CONGRATULATIONS as you embark on your new adventure! It must feel great to be on the verge of doing something that you are really excited about.
As for other Colorado Letterheads, you're moving to the scene of the crime so to speak. It all began with the original Denver Letterheads. Some of the best are there in Colorado including Kent Smith and Jeff Cahill. Why not try a search in the database?

Hey Bill! Welcome HOME We are on the "good" side of the state in Paonia. Would love to come over to your side for a meet tho...just say when & what to bring (hhmmm maybe if Monte was up for another Co trip, we could finally hand off that globe willow I've been promising him for ages) Hope all goes well with your offer and move.

Welcome back William,
I live in Colorado, but the far Southeastern part. Not too far from Canon City though. Please keep us posted, I would love to attend my FIRST letterhead meet in Canon.

Hi Bill,
Congratulations on the move!! I hope the deal on the shop works out, I've been staying at my shop in Kansas & so far I love it!! 5,000 sq.ft. should be plenty of room but you may be surprised at how quickly all that space fills up. Another thing is you'd have plenty of room to rent part of it out to someone else which would help cover the bills while you'e getting back up to speed after the move.
Regardless, I'm glad to hear about your move and will plan on making your shop-warming meet!!

Congradulations William...thats a good place to be...nice small town on the lower eastern slope.
Only thing that could be better would be the western slope.
I like you left Colorado...in 1981 only I moved south into Oklahoma...I was in Denver for 35 years and I just got back from there last week. (high school reunion).
I'm glad for you ...but I have to tell you I have lost nothing in Colorado...after 35 years of snow, bad air, and millions of people milling around like goats I'll stay right where I am.
My proudest accomplishment since living here is I no longer own an Ice scraper.
Good luck to you and yours...maybe I'll swing in and see you on one of my pilgrimages.Hope I'm welcome after this scathing report.
