I used one at a Sign_A_Rama shop for many years. For those same years, I wished we had a different plotter.
As I remember, ours went through blades very quickly. It didn't cut small lettering very well at all. I know there were other problems as well, but can't remember what they were...I do remember much downtime and time on hold with tech support.
I would suggest a Summa from SummaDirect. I've had one for 6 years with no problems and the new ones I'm sure are much better. I think anyone looking into a new plotter should get one size larger than they think they need(I have a 24" and wish I had a 30") and also make sure it can handle heavier materials like sandblast mask if you may ever get into that.

I used one back in the day as well, and it ate blades at an alarming rate. Had an odd feature that you could use it as a traction feed, but it was to fussy. Besides we had a Gerber 4b with unilink for that. It used to freak out, I think the memory buffer? I don't remember though, I had to restart it a lot though. I was very happy when I left that place, because the new place had a nice Graphtec plotter.

Thanks for the input.I'll steer clear of this one.I'm needing a good sprocket feed machine without going to the expense of a gerber.Small graphics and letters are not a concern just solid tracking on reflective.Oh well........the search goes on.Thanks again Steve
