Greetings from Giggle Ranch!

Life is an adventure! Especially for us lately.

Today we have SIX fresh baked apple pies. Good news & bad news. It seems the plug that we hooked our freezer into doesn't function. Only the pies could be saved. I do LOVE apple pie however. And our new neighbors appreciate us already.

The dishwasher door needs to be kept latched or it falls open unexpectedly as the spring in the door is broken. The front door need to be closed formly or it doesn't latch securely. I had to put up a missing handrail on the stairs. We haven't figured our how to turn off one upstairs light... the switches click but the light doesn't turn off... only dims slightly.

And there's a hundred other quirks in this old house.

The previous owner informed us last week that the goat in the backyard comes WITH the house... and that his name is Billy.

We're having a blast here at our new property. Janis & the kids wanted to call it "FUNNY FARM" but we settled on Giggle Ranch instead... it says the same thing in a creative way. [Smile]

Your posts are always heart warming.

Surprisingly, "This Old House" by Norm has alot
of helpful information. As for the electrical
problem, be sure to turn off the breaker, and
test with a "Wiggie".

"Billy" is a great lawn mower. So are sheep.

I'm sure you'll have lots of fun making "Giggle
Ranch" your own.

Good Luck.

Having raised dairy goats for awhile, I would check Billy to see if the family jewels are still there. If there are, get rid of them (him) before fall.
