more truthful....the cat allows you in .....ITS SHOP.....hehehehehe. my shop is a room in the house. my cat, O.C.(for outside cat, maine coon, all gray, 25 lbs)when he feels like it, gets in my chair, and i will pick him up and move him...he just jumps back into the chair. so i outsmart him, i now have 2 chairs, which ever one he picks, i use the other one. he also thinks that my scanner is his perch!!!! i have to put an empty box on top of the scanner to keep the damn furball off it!

OP you have that problem too? LOL. At our shop we have 3 dogs(not mine) but at home I have 3 cats who all think it's thier job to help me when I'm on the computer.

I was thinking more about the red Trans Am that came in and his sister-kitty was here. She was completely overwhelmed by that car, evidently, I couldn't keep her out from under it. She's too young to jump up on it, but she probably would have if she could.

BTW, can a litter of cats have more than one father? I thought I heard that they could. We have three kittens who seem to have very little in common! The mom's completely black, Berlioz (pictured above) is tabby, Marie is Siamese, and Toulouse is just plain ugly.

Couldn't help but notice that Berlioz is an excellent "mouser". And with very little effort, too---or did he expend a lot of effort and is all worn out?

Don't bend over the weeding bench at my shop. My cat will hop up on your shoulders and watch you weed vinyl. He has to greet every customer, check out every car, truck, boat, or trailer to see if its fit for graphics.

Mine loves the shop AND the woods and fields around the shop. I bring him in every day and home with me every night. He has a ritual that never wavers. I open his pet carrier door, he flies out with afterburners on, runs through the computer room, into the main fabrication room, rolls around on the concrete floor for about 2 minutes, then trots back over to the door and anounces that he's ready to explore the great outdoors.

He also loves riding in the truck but I went back to the pet carrier because of all orange fur accumulating on the dark blue interior. For a while in the morning all I had to do was open the pet carrier door and in he went. Took some coaxing for the trip back home though.

By the way, my cat's name is Fitch!

I think Berli is resting up so that he can fight with Marie and Toulouse all night. They keep me up every night wrestling across the bed and then the dresser and through the hall.

I'm so sleep deprived...you should see me trying to measure and cipher around the shop, I couldn't figure 3 X 8 yesterday.

a photo like that is an example of why my cat is named "Megabite". Only difference is that when she was a kitten the first nights I had her she would try to chase my fingers across the keyboard and bite them. Thus the name given to Megabite by my sister. Not bad considering I named her cat "Mouse"
