On the tail of Ray Rheaume's post, here is some interesting info regarding copyright laws in Australia.
I'd imagine there is comparable info available online for your locale. As I understand it the laws are close to parallel in a great many countries.
http://www.copyright.org.au/PDF/InfoSheets/G075.pdf

Particularly interesting are the paragraphs
"Protection is automatic"
and
"When is copyright infringed?"

An interesting read.

Got it work, probably the pop-up blocking software, yes?

Dave,
Sorry for the late response, a busy day.
It may well be your your popup software. It may also be something I noticed the other day, which is that when Acrobat is triggered from your browser a window appears behind those you have open which asks do you want to check for Acrobat updates etc...
Until you accept or decline the option, no pdf's will open.
Hope the article was of some use to you when you did manage to get it open.
Regards,
David Fisher

Hi David,

I had a little trouble opening the link here too, so I took the time to go through the United State Library of Congress and found some interesting info online. The following link is a very good one about US copyright laws in general.

http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ1.html#cr

I made note of the advantages of registering my business with the US govt for future needs.

I think this is a link that everyone here in Letterville should spend a few minutes going over. It is very informative.

Thanks for the post.
