What is best for removing 'some' vinyl from plexi without crazing? I don't have a lot to remove, but I don't want it melting away on me.

Where is that Roger guy when you need him? We peel up the vinyl by pulling slowly to get most of the adhesive to come with it. A little heat from a heat gun or hair dryer helps soften the PVC so it stretches instead of breaking. Then Roger' Rapid Remover to get any adhesive off that didn't come up with the vinyl. Wipe up the now gooey adhesive with paper towels. Last step is to clean with water. If you are careful you won't leave any scratches on the acrylic. If you don't care about scratches use a razor blade paint scraper to start lifting the vinyl.

Thanks, Chuck...really, it's the glue I am more concerned with getting off after I take the vinyl off.

Bernice...Rapid Remover is the ONLY way to go! It works like a charm...if you have never used it you are making life hard for yourself.
In a pinch, though, I have used Varsol. It is a lot messier but will eventually get the job done.

Bernice- They're right- Rapid Remover is awesome. I use use plastic razor blades (available from SignWareHouse.com) to scrape off the gonk. I set the plex just off the edge of my work surface and scrape it directly into a lined garbage bag. Works much better than trying to wipe it off- always boggs down. I've done 4'x8's this way and it works for me.... ditto
Same process for glass, PVC, trucks- plastic blades and Rapid Remover- lost w/o them. Hope this helps.
