I simply can't believe how many trips it took to get all our stuff to Yarrow. But it's all here at last.
The house is painted & the floors are done.
The new John Deer ridem lawnmower works great!
As we moved, my daughter & Janis prevailed on me to not be so conservative with the design for my new studio... they reminded me that this IS THE ONE... my prime chance to build my dream space.
The neighbors kinda scratched their heads yesterday as my son-in-law & I dragged a 12' tall step ladder out in the back forty and set it upin the middle of the bare field. I climbed up to determine the height of the studio floor to get the very best view. Once that was determined I set about starting afresh with the plans.
For those familiar with the latest Harry Potter movie, my studio space will be inspired by Headmaster Dumbledorf's office... the creative area will be elevated over the rest of the studio/showroom/meeting area. It will be circular with two curved staircases up to it.
As the sun shone in our window this morning I looked out where sheep still graze in the back field (the neighbor is to take them away by month's end) I could see the new studio/workshop clearly.
It's gonna be a great creative space!

What is a thought? Can you weigh it, or measure it? Yet somehow the thought becomes reality, an actual place and thing. Kinda gives you chills to predict the future and watch it happen.
