Well, it's the last post from the old dungeon. The computer is packed this evening (actually early morning)
The 'new' dungeon is smaller, darker, and has only a six foot one inch ceiling height. Good thing is that I'm only five foot eleven & a half inches tall. I don't hit my head unless I forget to duck when I come down the stairs, or forget about the various ducts, low doorways and that pesky light bulb in the ceiling.
But the 'new' dungeon is only temporary until I build the shiney new shop/studio in the back 'forty'.
It's hard to remember how much I love all my thirty -five tons of books and huge collections of stuff when I'm packing them up the stairs into the trailer... but the new place is starting to feel a lot like home.
We finished the bulk of the painting in the house today... new carpets are in tomorrow and the new lino the day after. Then it's time for us to start living there for real.
Dreams do come true!
