Welcome to Letterville Steven! I really like your name BTW. Here's your first English lesson.
Pierre was reading this BB one day and called to say he would not want to be in my pants. The correct phrase is "I would not want to be in your shoes." That's the way the English say it. The French have a reputation as lovers, so Pierre's words are probally just fine in Quebec. Posted by Dave Draper (Member # 102) on :
Welcome Steven,
Hmmmm, I though it was ok to get in Shortreed's pants.

There is no better place to practice your english so go for it!

Welcome to Letterville Steven!! This is a great place to practice your english because even though some of us here only speak english, we make plenty of mistakes ourselves!! I'm looking forward to meeting you in August but meanwhile, see if you can keep Pierre out of rouble until we can get across the border!!
(edited to correct one of those mistakes I mentioned earlier )

Bienvenue Steven, I'm here to practice my english too. I originally speak that language that Bill was trying to confuse you with (you may want to work on your grammar a little bit, Bill..) So far I have learnt that there are practically no rules to english. If you want to say something that you shouldn't say, you just invent your own words and say it anyway. Watch Karyn, you'll see what I mean Posted by Judy Pate (Member # 237) on :
Howdy Steven! Welcome to the neighborhood. Judy

Howdy Pard, We all need to practice our english here cause we have turned it into Texan/American slang. So don't go by what we say, just what we do. and I say "Welcome" Bill
