Ok, after reading Cheryl's post (I love you, woman and I'm gonna use your unique spelling too)I gotta vent and vent good so excussssssse me.

Ordered a whole roll of Magnum Magnetics (you know, the skinny stuff) and got it out of the box today. Well, the schitheads sent me the wrong freakin' stuff, it has adhesive on the side I want to put my vinyl on. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I need it for Friday and it's too late now. Boy, that'll teach someone to check the schit in the box when it first comes in. The stupid company won't send direct, we had to order it from Pioneer in Pittsburgh, they ordered it from the company, the company sent it to them and then they sent it to us.
*%#+@##@@@@ idiots!!!!!!! I can't see straight for being so ****ed off.
And, on the subject of blades and Avery and schitty vinyl and all the rest............I hate everything too. Plus, it's been freakin' raining for three months and I've had it!!
Thank you very much everybody. Have a delightful evening.

Well, we all have our bad times with shipments and suppliers, so you have a sympathetic audience here...........now you just go ahead and stomp around for awhile, it'll do you good!........and when you get it out of your system, we'll be right here to talk about something else.....maybe we can rant about something good for awhile........ Aww Sharon....now I feel kinda bad for starting all this ranting. But......if you don't get out those frustrations....you will go around looking and acting like you have a stick up yer butt. (don't tell anybody but I know of a couple people like that)

I hope your day goes better tomorrow (mine too)
I recommend a good jump on the ole trampoline. (either that or an ice cold margarita) [Cool]

Must be something in the air. Took me 2 days to find someone in Florida that sells RapidPrep and they had to order from their warehouse. Well today I get the box and it's RapidTac not Prep!

Yippee! Don't ya just love suppliers!

I bet they need more women doing the work so it is done right!!

I'm not a chick but next time I have a beef with a supplier I'll pay any of you 10% asskicking fee to rip em a new oriface next time my order gets screwed up!

What really freightens me is the thought of all of you in the same room with PMS at the same time.

I know I'm gonna catch it for this one, but it appears a lot of the Lettervile gals have started cycling together [Smile]

I hope you meant the cycle with pedals, George. LOL
If all these women here show up at the same meet, look out! I agree with Bob Stephens...I'm gonna call some of them up to deal with crappy suppliers and non-bill paying customers! I wouldn't want Cheryl or Karyn on my arse.

My wife, who rarely takes an interest in the buletin board, just happened to be looking over my shoulder when I was reading this thread.
The only comment she had is 'right on, you tell em girl'.
I've truly enjoyed the 'ladies' rantings, created some great threads and responses.
George, you've got balls, hope they let you keep them. [Wink]

hahahahahahaha

don't you guys know when we're just having fun?? twitch twitch....... [Razz]

Just remember guys, when circling the wagons, all the gun barrels should be pointed OUT! The barrels are those round metal thingies with the hole in the end. Do not peek into the hole whilst activating the trigger; the loud bang and bright light could prove painful to the unwary.

Don't blame this on me---- the little kid brought it up.

I'm baaaaaaacccckkkkkkkk.

The company is overnighting the (hopefully) correct type of magnetics and we're supposed to have it before 10:30 a.m.Friday morning. If it's not the right stuff this time, watch for the mushroom cloud over southern Pennsylvania.

And about that "cycle" schittttt.......I'm in menopause and PMS has NOTHING on this crap. My husband says that he thinks he's in the movie "The Bodysnatchers" and that I've been taken over by the Pod People...............snort!

about the cycling together bit
i had one once but the wheels feel off
[Smile]

why is it that when fella's are having a bad day it's justified, but when it's the female HALF OF THE POPULATION it's pms?

one of the best parts of having my motor out (as my step father the mechanic referes to the op)
was that for once devo couldn't disregard my opions simply as pms
[Smile]

i know it's all been talked about before but woman in this industry do have a different set of guidelines to navigate

it has nothing to do with the actual work... that doesn't alter if your male or female

but the rest of it, from what we wear, to a simple buiness negotiation is effected by our gender

i can wish it wasn't so wishing it changes nothing

it's not all bad though, some times it's a bonus.

i can be in a bitch of a mood and about 50% of the men I have to deal with will automaticly duck... especially if they had very strong female figures in their early lives

50% will get their backs up if they had very manipulative females early on and I try to conjole them to my way of thinking

you play the adverages

i have said for a long time that just because I'm child bearing, not ball bearing, it shouldn't make a differance... but it does

one of my old favorites was the bloke that always called me girly (i haven't been one of those for many, many years)
this customer would only deal with devo, or one of the junior boys even on the phone
and when he spoke to me it was in
v e r y s i m p l e t e r m s
presumably so that i could understand being female and all hehehe

i had been the one doing this fella's work for years when the bitch in me just had to tell him one day
poor bloke I can still see his jaw drop, he had so liked his signs up untill then

human beings... but being what is the question
[Smile]

cheers
gail
